Cathy earned her Enrolled Agent designation in 2013.  Known as “America’s Tax Experts”, Enrolled Agents are licensed in all 50 states by the US Treasury Department. Not only can Cathy prepare tax returns, but can also represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the IRS.

Cathy likes to say “I stand between you and the IRS.”

Cathy is passionate about her clients’ future financial success, and in assisting clients in accomplishing their individual financial goals. Helping clients attain financial independence, all while reducing their tax liability. 

When she’s not speaking tax, you can find Cathy at the local farmers’ markets sampling the wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, hiking the local trails, working in her California native plant garden, and spending time with her husband, Peder. Sometimes you can even find her at the local yoga session or nail salon.
